HOME: DESIGNER TRENDS
  TUESDAY FAY
Gray Palette | Buyer/Designer | Bob Mills Furniture, Oklahoma, Texas
 1. ND: Are there any home decor trends for 2018 that are being carried over
from 2017?
Tuesday Fay, Bob Mills Furniture: The direction lately that we’ve seen has been the gray scheme, overall. I think grays are here to stay for our market for quite a while.
2. ND: Why do you think gray continues to be popular?
TF: I think we’re seeing a lot more of a transition especially in our Midwest region that’s been inspired by both the east and west coasts. We’ve brought in a lot of the modern looks and more transitional styles. Because
of this, we’re moving away from dark browns in decor. People want to change the overall feel of what they’ve seen for decades, so they are moving more toward white cabinets and lighter colors to open up the space.
PEOPLE WANT
TO CHANGE THE OVERALL FEEL OF WHAT THEY’VE SEEN FOR DECADES, SO THEY ARE MOVING MORE TOWARD... LIGHTER COLORS TO OPEN UP THE SPACE.
