ccent Décor’s new Dallas Market Center showroom in the World Trade Center (WTC 190) is worth a visit this January when it’s unveiled at the Total Home & Gift Market. Almost double the size of its former showroom,
the new location will showcase the company’s oral and holiday décor themes in their entirety, merchandised to help buyers visualize the products at retail.
“This expansion will allow us to show more of our product and have enough space for people to take it all in,” Frank Ho and, president of Accent Décor, said. “Last year, we really began developing our holiday line, and this year it will be even larger. Dallas [Market Center] is the center of holiday so it makes sense to showcase the entire line here.”
That holiday expansion will include nine new characters in
the Eric and Eloise story Accent Décor introduced in 2017. The fox and hare family holiday theme has become increasingly popular for the company, and Ho and is excited about the new introductions at market. Other new holiday and oral collections are still under wraps, he continued, but there will be lots of new to see come January.
Accent Décor’s larger showroom will also include a café
where visitors can stop in for a cappuccino, pastries and other refreshments, complete with a seating area, something that has been very popular in the company’s other showrooms.
With the new space right on the atrium of the World Trade Center and connected to the Interior Home + Design Center, Accent Décor
is looking forward to the increased exposure the new location o ers. Accent Décor is open daily and Ho and anticipates the new location will draw even more designers and buyers who shop DMC o -market to the showroom for everyday oral and décor collections.
“On the ground oor, we have an opportunity to catch buyers’ attention. There’s good crossover too, as the new showroom is connected to the IHDC,” Ho and continued. “It’s a perfect t.”
The new space also allows the top-line oral and holiday design company to mirror its design aesthetic in other locations with exposed brick walls and more room for display. “We’ve wanted
to expand our Dallas location for years,” said Liz Zwissler, design director for the company, adding that Accent Décor was waiting for the perfect location. “It’s an easy location for us and for customers.”
Accent Décor has had a showroom on the DMC campus since 2006. The new showroom is ve times larger than their original 2,000-square-foot showroom, and adds about 40% more space from the company’s most recent location.
If you haven’t had the chance to visit Accent Décor, be sure to stop by WTC 190 in the World Trade Center Atrium during the
Total Home & Gift Market , January 17-23, or stop by any day as Accent Decor is open daily.
