THE NEWEST SHARED SHOWROOM IS THE GALLERY IN IHDC. (Above)
Laura Zindel, designer/owner of Laura Zindel Designs, in the 2301 Collection at the Trade Mart, designs and manufactures high-end ceramics. She brings her expertise and knowledge to the Total Home & Gift Markets four times a year. “One of the biggest bene ts of shared showrooms is that customers can talk directly to the designers,” Zindel noted. In a retail environment where knowing the story behind the designs and products is becoming ever more important, having direct access can make a di erence.
“The customer walks in to a multi-identity showroom,” Christophe Risterucci, president and CEO of Lampe Berger, also in the 2301 Collection, added. “Every brand has its own identity. It’s a di erent experience for the retailer.”
TRADE MART
The 2301 Collection features 10 designer companies, all representing their own lines. When visiting the showroom, buyers get to build relationships with multiple companies within one showroom space. In 2301, the companies have worked together to create a buyer’s lounge with a charging station and will be o ering breakfast and lunch, snacks, co ee and other beverages to give buyers a place to rest and refuel. Other exhibitors in the 2301 Collection include Niven Morgan, Olivia Riegel, UWP Luxe, Pyar & Co. and more.
At the January Total Home & Gift Market, Lampe Berger will be celebrating its 120th anniversary with a limited-edition fragrance, Elegant Parisienne, and a rst-time candle introduction, Parfum Berger.
